We love our country here at Gateway Baptist Church and thank God for giving us the privilege to tell Australia about the greatest news ever given to man – The Gospel of Jesus Christ.
To accomplish this goal, we have currently taken a two-fold approach:
- Directly assisting in the planting of new independent baptist churches.
In 2007, Gateway was able to sponsoring in Pastor Dan Delong and sending him and his family to Cairns, Queensland to plant the Coastline Baptist Church. Since that time, God has blessed the work there. Although Coastline is now completely independent of Gateway, we still have working relationship to help and support each other in any way that we can.
- Supporting church planters or those assisting church planters in Australia.
Our church has the privilege of supporting the Jackson family in Bundaberg, Queensland. The Jackson family are sent out of the Garden City Baptist Church in Toowoomba, Queensland.
